Welcome Barbecue

5:30 PM – 7:30 PM ET | Penn Commons
Enjoy a meal and meet fellow FGLI students and staff from Penn First Plus and the Penn community!

Shopping Trip to IKEA

9:30 AM – 12 PM ET | Meet on 37th Street between Sansom and Chestnut
Take a bus to IKEA to buy necessities for your room and pick up some freebies!

Hybrid Scavenger Hunt

2 PM – 4 PM ET | Departs from Dr. Pepper Statue/Penn First Plus Office
Collect a Penn Resource Passport, and get it stamped. Once you’ve collected enough points, return to the Shleifer Family P1P Center and collect an ice cold popsicle or ice cream sandwich as your reward.

International Student and FGLI Student Mini-Carnival and Game Night

8 PM – 10 PM ET | Houston Hall and Penn Commons
Join the FGLI PHINS for sweet treats and carnival games on Penn Commons!

2 PM – 4 PM ET | Shleifer Family Penn First Plus Center, College Hall G01
Join the PHINS to learn more about fun, no-to-low-cost places to visit for fun in Philly. SEPTA (bus, subway) passes will be provided. Visit places like Magic Gardens; Old City; Bartram’s Garden; and Chinatown.
