Through office-generated programs and close collaboration with the undergraduate Schools and campus partners, Penn First Plus endeavors to offer timely events that address the questions and needs of first-generation and lower-income undergraduates. Sculpt & Smoothies

Take a break and get creative! Sculpt your own jar and little clay self-care items, then fill your jar with affirmations and reminders of ways to care for yourself. You’ll leave with a personalized keepsake to revisit whenever you need a boost.

Join us every Friday in February for a casual pop-in where you can ask your candid questions about life after college and what it means to find success! For our premiere session, we’re excited to host Ashish Rughwani, W’95, E’95, co-chair of the P1P Alumni Association!
Karen Rodriguez is a FGLI Penn grad who studied Operations, Information, and Decisions at Wharton and Political Science in the College. She grew up in Miami, was born in Mexico City, and is of Cuban descent. After starting her career at BCG, Karen became a Director on the Corporate Strategy and Operations team at Corient, a fast-growing, soon-to-be global asset and wealth management firm. She leads high-impact initiatives focused on building new functions, driving large-scale technology transformations, and supporting the firm’s growth.

Penn Live Arts: Rennie Harris

Rennie Harris finishes his third year as Penn Live Arts artist in residence with the world premiere of Losing My Religion, an exploration of the world’s constant turmoil through the lens of street dance and hip hop. Set to a chilling soundscape mixed live by a DJ, this new work offers a haunting narrative of personal and systemic struggle and transformation. Join us prior to the performance for dinner and a conversation about the work’s themes with Dr. Margit Edwards, Lecturer in Theatre Arts at Penn.
